《静思语》

• 今天能做善事就赶快去做，因为这份善念，欢喜最可靠，也是最现成的福。
• 人在平安的时候，很容易迷失自己。偶而有小挫折或坎坷反而能唤醒良知，长养善根，这何尝不是福？

We are very fortunate to have many opportunities to perform this year. Those who are actively involved will gain higher CCA, CIP points, learning experience and good merits.

Here is the schedule, all dates of performance are on Saturdays:

1. Performance on 21 Jun 08 at Kong Meng San (Today's Zaobao, Pg 13)
2. Performance at Bugis Junction for SHINE opening on 28 Jun 08 (Rehearsal at 9.30 am, performance at 3 pm. You can go home after the rehearsal and then report for the performance at 2.45pm)
3. Rehearsal at Tzu Chi Foundation on 19 Jul 08 (Morning)
4. Competition at Tzu Chi Foundation on 26 Jul 08 (2 - 5 pm)

Students taking part in the performance on 21 Jun are:
Su Hiang, Yan Ye, Amanda, Pei Ching, Jia Hui, Meng Kuan, Leona, Hazel, Elysia, Wen Shi and Hui Wen.

Students taking part in performance 温暖满人间 for SHINE on 28 Jun are:
Leona, Jia Hui, Elysia, Su Hiang, Ren Fang, Mei Hua, Clarin, Yan Ye, Yeat Yuan, Hazel, Amanda, Zee Yee and Wen Shi.

Students performing 一家人 for competition are:
Jia Hui, Elysia,Claudia, Zee Yee, Wen Shi, Guo Kai,leona,pei ching,mengkuan,yeat yuan,yan ye,hui wen

Students performing 生命圆舞曲 for competition are:

I will be submitting the names to the organisers by Thursday. Please let me know if there are any changes.

BIC members have a good reputation now because we put in the best effort in every performance. Once again, we will contribute our part to the society through our performance.


First practice : 12 Jun (Thu), 3 to 5 pm at MRL.
Important Practice/Rehearsal in school: 17 Jun (Tue), 2.30 to 5 pm at MRL
Rehearsal in school (Final) : 21 Jun 3 - 4.15pm at school hall
Rehearsal at KMS : 21 Jun, 5 pm
Performance: 21 Jun (Sat)

Dates of activities when school reopens
Practice in school: 24 Jun (Tue 3-3.30pm),
Drama lessons/practices: 26 Jun, 3, 10, 17, 24 July (Thu, 2.45 to 5pm)
Rehearsal for SHINE: 27 Jun (afternoon), 28 Jun (morning)
Performance for SHINE : 28 Jun (afternoon)
Rehearsal at Tzu Chi: 19 Jul
Competition :26 July
