    First Aid Course and Volunteers for Metta Charity Walk / Wednesday, May 20, 2009

    (1) We can send 5 members for First Aid course (21 hours spread over 3 days). The dates are not confirmed yet, but likely to be in the first week of the holidays. Those who are interested please let Mrs Cheng know. First come first served!

    (2) Metta Welfare Association is a charitable organisation that provide care services for the elderly and disabled and special education for students with special needs. (The sandwiches that we ate on the way for Vesak rehearsal was bought from the cafeteria at Metta School).

    They are organising a Charity walk on 7 June 09 to raise fund for their activities. Many volunteers are needed for Metta Charity Walk in the following areas:

    > > > 1) Traffic control
    > > > 2) Security
    > > > 3) Flyers distribution
    > > > 4) Environment
    > > > 5) Distribution of goodie bags
    > > > 6) Any other ad-hoc duties

    Please sign up for volunteers to do good deeds and earn CIP points.
    You can also encourage your friends and family members to take part in the walk. $10 for charity and that includes a T-shirt and a goodies bag.. $5 per pax if we have a group of more than 20 pax.
